Early Intervention support

Early intervention (EI) supports a wide range of children by addressing developmental delays, disabilities, or other challenges as early as possible. Intervention is tailored to each child's unique needs, ensuring they receive the right support to enhance their growth and development and to participate meaningfully in daily activities and learning.

Early intervention support serves a wide range of children:

Children with Developmental Delays

  • EI helps children who are not meeting developmental milestones in communication, motor skills, social interaction or cognitive abilities.

  • Supports are provided to close developmental gaps.

Children with Diagnosed Disabilities

  • Children with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, or Cerebral Palsy receive early support to build foundational skills.

  • Interventions focus on improving communication, mobility, and daily living skills.

At-Risk Children

  • Some children are at risk due to premature birth, low birth weight, or environmental factors (e.g., exposure to trauma or neglect).

  • EI provides preventative support to promote overall development and reduce future challenges.

Children with Social-Emotional Challenges

  • Some children have difficulty with emotional regulation, making friends, or engaging in group settings.

  • EI provides structured play, social skills training, and behavioural support.

Our support is tailored to each child’s developmental needs and goals outlined in their NDIS plan.
